The school was very friendly and nurturing except for the fact that there was a very cold hearted teacher (Miss Frazer) who made my little Sophie had the saddest days ever. I decided to take my 4 kids after lots of thoughts. I could not understand- as a teacher myself- how a young woman could be so harsh to a little second grader. There has been mornings When I entered The class to drop Sophie, and another student would spend hours crying missing her mum and she would not bother to Care. Not turn around to content her. She would only continue writing on the board. It broke my heart to see Such a cruel teacher teaching such a lovely young group of children.

I cannot say much what the school is like now, as I attended between 2005 and 2011, but I know some of the same staff still teach there, and after I left I only heard positive things about it. If you're thinking about sending your child(ren) there, I would urge you to take my account of my time there into consideration, as I believe the core values of the school remain. My education there was wonderful. Every single teacher I met was simply marvellous with children, and the school was built around strong and upstanding catholic vistues. It truly made me the person I am today more than anything else outside my family. I had big mental issues as a child, which was accepted and dealt with in a way I have never seen matched to this day. The technical side of the education was at a high level, but accomodated to all the student's abilities nevertheless. The moral and religious education was what had the biggest impact for me, and in that sense I hold it in truly high regard. The students of other religions were always treated with the utmost respect, and the teachers made sure to accomidate to that in every reasonable way possible. I do not hesitate in saying that the students of other religions came out as stronger believers than if they had gone to a non-catholic school. Moreover, the parent-teacher communication was always there when it needed to be, and there was never once a problem that the staff wouldn't dedicate themselves to solving. The artistic side was present as well, with an emphasis on music and theatre. The impressive yearly theatre plays performed by the older classes was a structure that cannot be dispensed with. Having just been accepted into a highly regarded university in the artistic field, I can say that I am immensely grateful to the way my passions were pushed and supported by the teachers, even at an early age.
