I have been a patient at the Thurleigh Road Practice for around twenty years. Its standard of care used to be excellent, but in the last few years has utterly collapsed. It has become largely impossible to make an appointment or communicate with the practice. This is not due to any failures in the capability or capacity of the physicians. It is entirely due to catastrophic administrative failures. The practice urgently needs to change its arrangements for booking appointments and communicating with doctors. Until that is done, the practice will continue to fail in its duty of care. As things currently stand, it is completely broken.

Thurleigh Rd Practice has suffered, as many others, from the NHS crisis. I have been a patient for many years and always been well looked after, receiving the best care and concern, crisis or no crisis. Sometimes getting appointments is trying, life has changed since Covid but try and make allowances for a situation no-one wants!

This is a great practice and the standard of care is excellent, with doctors routinely booking follow ups to check treatment was effective. It definitely has a local, family feel. Have been impressed enough to write a review.

I agree that the Practice is not what it was, post Covid (& my family have been registered since 1996). however, once you get to an actual Dr, the practice is as excellent as ever (hence the 4 stars). Im particularly appreciative of Dr Ovaisie, and the marvellous Dr Ellis who have been brilliant. It is unbelievably sad to see the NHS falling apart right now. I do hope that this Practice manages to turn itself around despite funding shortages, Dr shortages etc etc. . Btw, after 3 horrible visits to A&E over 6 weeks (having been unable to get an appointment to see a GP) my husband finally saw Dr Patel recently, who spent 45 minutes examining him and organising tests. Its the wrong way round to get the help you need, but once again, once you see/speak to a Dr here, they are excellent.
