You couldnt ask for a better person to help you with your mortgage than Derek. He goes way above and beyond his role and sees things right through to completion and beyond. He chases and does what ever he can to help any situation with third parties e.g. solicitors and gives other general advice where he can. He is thorough, always contactable and a pleasure to do business with. Derek was recommended to me by my friend and she also speaks very highly of him.

We went to Derek for mortgage advice after doing some research and reading positive reviews online and I couldnt recommend him enough! We spoke to a few mortgage advisors before deciding to go with Derek and are so happy we did. He never made us feel as though anything was too much trouble and was available to help us whenever we needed (no matter what the day, or time!). Derek continued to keep in touch with us and check on our purchase, even after his role in the process had technically finished. As first time buyers, we had never been through the house buying process before, so Derek explained everything to us and made sure we understood everything we were choosing and agreeing too. We would recommend Derek to anyone searching for a mortgage advisor as he does a brilliant job through the whole process and is a professional, honest and genuinely lovely person. Derek made the process a lot less stressful for us and I dont think we would have got through it without him - we cant thank you enough!!

Derek was recommended to us after receiving the devastating news in August that our landlord had plans to sell our house during this pandemic! Wed always planned to buy our own house and was saving as much as we could, this news of course, came completely by surprise. Wed had a previous mortgage advisor (for almost 5years) and due to his advice, wed never progressed very far as we had work to do on our credit scores. Translation: we didnt meet the criteria for his small circle of lenders. Derek was highly recommended and with baited breath we had our first consultation with Derek, he is so professional, honest, hard working and caring. Wed already seen a house that we loved, within a reasonable price bracket, we were always told by our relatives you never get the first house you want. No matter what time it was, hed always make time to chat about any concerns worries or document jargon I didnt understand (which was often! Sorry Derek ) Derek worked around the clock and I was ecstatic when Derek phoned me maybe a week or even less after our first consultation to say hed secured a mortgage in principle! He got the ball rolling and walked us through all paperwork and documentation required for the lenders an absolute star for putting up with me! The house we loved that nothing on the market compared to sold STC I called Derek straight away and he said put the phone down, call them back and make an offer. So I did. I am currently sat on my sofa, with my little dog in our perfect first home, with a cup of tea writing this well deserved review albeit a bit of a novel. Without Derek, wed be renting a property for twice the cost of our mortgage. In the space of 2 and a half months, we found Derek, chose THE house of our dreams and are now the proud owners of this perfect property with an excellent mortgage rate during a Pandemic! We cant thank you enough, youve made this process so much easier than anticipated and we couldnt have done it without you! I highly recommend Derek Johnson Mortgage Inspirations! Glad I found Derek. I was a first time buyer and he is very knowledgeable and helped me get a great deal on my mortgage. He will always keeps you updated and he's always available if you have any queries throughout the process. I am now finally on the property ladder thanks to Derek, I highly recommend him and he is worth his weight in gold.
