Dunley Hall Residential Care Home

Last month, my nan very reluctantly had to leave her own home and go into residential care as she was unable to manage on her own. Upon many favourable recommendations including one from my own GP and extensive research we chose Dunley Hall. I can honestly say, that in all my time I have never seen a more caring and compassionate group of people than the staff at Dunley. From the minute she arrived my nan has been treated with great dignity and respect and is treated like one of the family! They have made a lady who was very sad at losing her independence after all these years into the happiest I have ever seen her. I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I have a very close friend, who requires a 24hr care package, and thankfully, he receives it very well, in Ryan's Court, which is part of Dunley Hall Nursing Home. Trish, the manager, is lovely, and so are all the staff, who provide excellent service, with smiles on their faces too. The self contained rooms have everything they need, and the building is well maintained, and the gounds are always carefully tendered, too. The historic building is set in a beautiful rural location, and it's always a pleasure to visit. My friend has settled in perfectly, which is important, especially at this difficult time, due to Covid restrictions, as the staff have been extremely supportive. They've even built a 'covid pod' outside, so residents still can have visitors, and remain safe. Thank you team, for looking after my friend, so magnificently well, he appears to be part of one big, though a little dysfunctional, happy family, with Respect!
