        Always go here when in Bakewell. Great pub, great food. Update, April 2023.... First time back at the Lion since it reopened. Glad to see it's still got it's traditional feel, service was great, the food was superb and served super quick. Couldn't fault anything.

        Food & drinks: We ate in the evening and the food was very nice served with a smile and very quickly. Reasonable value for money. Frustratingly no breakfast, which we had to find in a local cafe. Noteworthy details: Car parking is a known issue
