Theresa is an excellent teacher and she has consistently provided a range of varied and effective exercises, tailored to suit her class. She is always well prepared and her enthusiasm is catching. I love her classes and have recommended her to many. Long may she continue!

It was a cold and dreary December evening when I decided that my stomach wobble was lasting a little bit too long for comfort. I tossed my last slice of pizza in the bin, and with this single act, my journey to peak physical fitness had begun. I tested out my newfound inner strength by searching online for some kind of reliable fitness regime. My criteria were not too harsh, but little did I know that my quest was only just beginning. I found all sorts of schemes and tips and tricks, but none of them seemed reliable, or doable. 6 month summer bod prep? I knew I didn't have the willpower to stick with anything for 6 months. 30 day stomach shred? Sounded very painful. I knew I needed some serious help if my fitness goals were to be achieved. And then it hit me, like a football to the back of the head when I walked through the playground at school. Peak District Pilates. The name had a catchy ring to it, and it was situated in a convenient location. If already fulfilled two of my three search criteria. The only thing yet to be seen was whether the instructor would have a fashionable, calm, demeanor. My fingers trembled as I booked my first session - this could be it! A bead of sweat rolled down my forehead as I sat back in my seat. Mission accomplished. The sweat dripped into my eye as I realised just how unfit I was. Four days later, I begun my pilgrimage to Bakewell, the starting location of my journey to my dream bod. Clad in the freshest Sondico threads that Sports Direct had to offer, I opened the door and was greeted by Theresa, my new fitness guru. The session breezed by like the smell of Mama's apple pie on a soft August wind. It was at this point that I knew that my life had changed forever. Theresa was more than a teacher, she was a listener as well. She listened to the pilate needs before I'd even spoken them - before I even knew I had them! It was clear that she had achieved true peak Pilate enlightenment. After the session I felt refreshed, renewed, and rejuvenated. Gone were the days where I gorged myself with greasy pizza every week, now I was only gorging myself on a strengthened core and a new sense of self-esteem. I felt a little bit taller, if not a little bit fitter. As I walked out the door I turned back to have one more look at the place where my epiphany had occured. I saw my new sensei, Theresa, looking upon her flock lovingly, before meeting my gaze. She gave a subtle, all knowing nod, and we both knew at that moment that I would be a Peak District Pilates customer for life.
