Bakewell Barn

Booked in for 3 nights at the Bakewell Barn at very short notice for our daughter's birthday. Found the place easily, parking on-site obviously very useful. The property has been superbly converted from a barn, and feels luxurious but simple. The living room area feels huge and spacious, probably because the ceiling is so high! Decor is simple, elegant and clean, kitchen is well appointed. Two bathrooms (one en-suite), two bedrooms; one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. The smart TV makes it easy to log in to any subscription services you might have if you fancy curling up and watching a movie. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, couldn't have wished for more. Communications with the owners was excellent, very friendly and helpful. They left a couple of welcome gifts for us which made arriving feel really special. All in all we had a great few days in Bakewell, and really appreciated this lovely accommodation. It's so close to everything but just far enough away from the busy road running through Bakewell that you won't hear a thing. There are only a couple of holiday properties around the country that we return to stay in as they are so good, this one has now been added to our list. It is excellent value for money. Thanks to the whole team who run and maintain this place! We will definitely be back.
