i rate the bakewell gift and bear shop very highly. ive gone to it from manchester to get my charlie and steiff bears for years as its completely a different experience to ordering on ebay,and you dont get the same advice,friendliness and warmth that you get from the ladies who run the shop, there is a large selection of charlie bears and a smaller number of steiffs,there is a good selection of limited edition bears including some from the minimo range and white label steiffs to choose from. the shop is also very acesible from a disability poiint of view, my 19" seat manual active wheelchair gets in and around the shop no problem,there is the odd couple of blue badge parking spaces on that road,one almost outside the shop so go during off peak hours and look out for that if you are a blue badge owner to as otherwise youd have to go to the main car park in bakewell which can be very difficult to get from/to and also very difficult to get a disabled bay.

Really helpful and friendly! They unfortunately didn't have the bear i was looking for but were very helpful on advising how to not miss out in future :)
