Great quality and best fish and chips had in ages and am not a fun of that dish. Lovely soft cod and not soggy or mushed chips , cooked perfectly Is the best around ... However the service provided was poor , grampy girl answering abruptly No explanation on pricing , didn't quite get us even spoke native English lol , kept double asking over and over again. Probably not used to not local accents I get that we were first customers but a bit of politeness and enthusiasm is always appreciated Improve in that please Thanks

Don't know about other good reviews, but this is the second time we've been here, and it will be the last. The cod was cooked fresh, but still overcooked, dry and tasteless. The breadcakes the smallest I've ever seen with cheap margarine and the peas were hard. The staff were not friendly, barely looking up. Definitely won't be going back.

Based on past reviews for this place, I decided to give them a go. Wow !! I ordered the fish and chips and mushy peas special . It was all delicious though the mushy peas were an absolutely standout for me. Terrific value at 5.95 for a delicious meal . I would most certainly recommend - they were pretty busy on the Monday night whilst I was there but the service was friendly and efficient . Try them out !!
