        Wye Bakehouse is an independent bakery tucked away in the Riverside Business park in Bakewell, on the very picturesque river with its huge weeping willow. A very friendly and knowledgeable bake house, selling a variety of breads! A huge selection of savoury and sweet sourdough loaves and pastries. The cinnamon bun was my favourite. They also serve coffee to takeaway.

        Excellent bakery. Feel so lucky to live close enough to pop in every week to pick up sone sourdough bread - the best for miles!. Thanks Jon and Alice. Long live independent businesses in the Derbyshire Dales!

        Excellent all round, some divine pastries. Best Ecclescake I've had. Often looks like they're shut but if it says they're open try the big old doors to find they are waiting inside in the warmth. Worth buying a cheese straw to take down to Thornbridge tap room.
