        Great food and lovely friendly staff. Really enjoyed our time there and we're sad to hear that unfortunately when we were there they were closed on the monday. Locals also use the pub and that's as good a recommendation as any one could give. Both our dogs were welcome and they were happy to offer water fir them. Worth a visit and is recommended.

        Pre-planned, mid-point lunch stop - came highly recommended; not disappointed. Lovely location, nice exterior and classic interior. Cosy little bar with open fire and pool table. Had a one off-menu pie, chips, and veg plus a Specials pie, chips, and veg - both delicious and generous. That said, still had room for dessert, which was equally tasty and generous - good energy for the second half. Highly recommended!

        Lovely pub but one female member of bar staff extremely rude with a bad attitude. Likes locals only it seems... Booked a specific table but was given to another group instead. We were moved into another room out of the way instead. We therefore did not place food order and left. Their loss. Will not go again or recommend. Her attitude is costing the pub money. Many reviews on trip advisor comment on this female member of staff. ? Why she is still employed by them...
