Sense Medical Limited

Sense Medical have recently completed installation of two Kowa retinal cameras at the Eye Unit of Royal Bolton Hospital. We bought a WX3D (for 3D disc imaging in our glaucoma unit) and a VX20 (for colour fundus imaging in our retinal unit). From start to finish I have been very happy with my dealings with Sense Medical. The installation was relatively complex as we wanted the WX3D feeding images to Zeiss Forum (via DICOM) and the VX20 feeding images to the Heidelberg HyEx software that we use in the retinal unit. Abdul and Kevin from Sense Medical were very professional and thorough. They worked well with our in house IT staff and the Zeiss staff to link the cameras in the way we requested. Abdul kept us updated frequently with the progress of the project and responded rapidly even to out-of-hours emails. The Kowa cameras themselves are functioning well and exactly as we had initially specified. I have no hesitation in recommending the Kowa WX3D, the VX20 and the Sense Medical team.
