The real home of golf. 6000 yards of OoB-ridden hell. Played here on and off for the last 25 years, and I am still petrified of the 1st and 3rd holes. Did play off a flat lie in 2003. Course undulates, every hole is different, great use of natural contours, lovely views of the quarry. Love the place, but still can't play it well.

Very friendly lot. Good food at right price. Lovely sitting area outside. Often hold social events, dinner dances, quizzes. Looking for new Lady members whether you've tried golf or not.

For the time of year, the greens were very good running true. The course was boggy underfoot but after 4 days of heavy rain it was to be expected. In summer this is a very challenging course and a good test of where your game is at.
