        Interesting info boards buy unfortcannot access ruins due to fencing in anticipation of renovation work. Nice drive nonetheless and worth a visit.

        It's a fine ruined castle but at the moment (early November 2022) the site is closed and there is scaffolding up. Long somewhat potholed drive but well signposted. We had previously visited three years ago and enjoyed the (smallish) site - as did our dog. Looking forward to when it reopens.
