Took my car for an MOT, and without notifying me they started work on my rear brakes which were apparently seized. I later managed to contact them and told them I expected to be asked if I wanted the work done, but as they were now already in the process, to carry on. I was given an estimate of 350-400 pounds. After further delays I collected the car, and eventually was sent a bill for 637 pounds. I replied to them twice by email questioning the bill but got no reply, so I called them and was told there were extra parts needed. I reluctantly paid the bill. I was not even shown the old parts taken off, which I would normally expect, so just have to believe them. The car only cost 800 pounds. I won't be back. Service: Brakes

I was so relieved to stumble across JLH autos when my exhaust fell apart. I turned up unannounced and worried I would be stuck with no transport over an hour from home with an appointment to get to but staff were so friendly and reassuring and quickly juggled things to squeeze me in. Everything was repaired in less than an hour and they even checked all my tyre pressures and reset a light on the dash that had been annoying me for about 2 years without me asking! Very reasonably priced too. If I lived closer I'd definitely be a loyal customer after such excellent service. So very grateful! Service: Exhaust
