One of the best historic inns/pubs in the country. The cobbled courtyard is superb in the spring and summer months. Enhanced by the ever reliable range of local Chiltern brewery ales. Food times seem to have been extended now. Very busy at lunchtimes. Also usually a couple of guest beers from other breweries, as well as a variety of English lagers and keg craft beers
