Jansel Square Sub Post Office

Terrible service and attitude. Arrived there at 12.45 p.m. today to get some documents certified urgently, only to find they had closed for lunch from 12.30 to 1.30. When I asked the woman behind the counter in the shop if that was normal, she said "It is for now". I said I'd never known a Post Office to close for lunch (at least not without giving notice on, for example, their Google maps listing) she said "Go somewhere else then". I certainly will and will never use this place again. They need to have their franchise taken away from them and I would have given them zero stars if I could.

Opening times change regularly with no notice. Arrived before 12.30 because I thought counter closed at 1 pm for the day, only to find it is open in the afternoon and its now closed for lunch. I cant waste more time going out again today. Theyve lost me as a customer, as at the least the branch on the high street is open when it says it is. I try to support my local businesses but this one just doesnt seem to care whether it has customers or not.

Just wanted to leave a positive review for the awesome lady who seems to be single-handedly running the post office counter at the moment. I've been in twice in the last week, and both times it has been very busy (today the queue was out the door) - this lady is very calm in the face of huge queues, efficient and cheerful, and that can't always be easy.

Terrible Service, Post Office says its open til 7pm, I got there at 6.30pm to be told it had closed, why advertise that its open til 7pm. Rude woman on the counter too.
