I have to agree with most of the comments of 1 star reviews, queue times, phone not being answered, fob off excuses which are all the same as I have experienced, eg received text but tablets not ready so to return next day, so left it for a few days only for my wife to receive same answer when she went to collect them for me, after standing her ground they found the tablets and my wife informed me that an elderly lady before her was being told her tablets were not ready even though the lady said a text had been received explaining that it was not easy for her to get to the pharmacy. I have been standing in queue on other occasions and can hear the phone constantly ringing with no one answering, and have also experienced unanswered calls as has my son, they are clearly used to not answering phone as it seems to be the norm, and they would not convince me otherwise. I will not be contacting their patient complaint phone as they must be fully aware of what is happening and they really don't seem to be bothered or care about their customers or service so I will now be voting with my feet and going elsewhere.

This place is shocking! For 1 item I've been back to the pharmacy 4 times and even then I still left empty handed. It's hard enough to finish work at 5 pm to get there before closing but to then have to wait around and repeatedly not get what you asked for is shambolic! The only saving grace for this pharmacy is the staff. Despite the lack of customer satisfaction, the staff (in my experience) remain appropriately mannered.

On my first trip they didn't have my item in stock, but they kindly took my dispensing token and said they would order it for the next day. I was told I would receive a phone call and didn't so I tried their phone number. After two frustrating days I finally managed to get through, and was told that my prescription actually arrived two days ago, and that it was ready for collection. So I walked all the way to the pharmacy, only to find out the item still wasn't in stock. I was given my dispensing token back and told to 'try elsewhere', which I could have been doing if they didn't waste my time for 3 days. Terrible experience. Go to consult. Two stars for kind staff.

I'm one of those people who only ever complain with extremally poor repetitive service. This is unfortunately, one of those times. Rowlands Never Answer Their Phone. Rang for 2 hrs straight regarding my prescription ( and yes I mean for two hours. As soon the line rang out I phoned again and again and again) No answer. So walked in while still on the phone waiting for them to pick up, to see them them ignoring the call and saying its because they are busy, not knowing its me. Disgusting. They also NEVER have the medication in. Try to blame the doctors for not submitting the prescription on time, but this is every time, every 28 days & the rest of my medication was there fine, (other than the most important and needed items.) So I strongly detest this statement. Anyway, been told to come back 3 times, for them to each time to tell me its not on the delivery. Still waiting and now ran out! Manager is rude and lacks understanding, and only one staff member who I've seen in there Saturday Mornings is helpful. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but I can see she is limited on how she can assist in such a poorly run environment, although tries her best! (She's a young lady with dark brown hair, I always see her doing the dispensing in the back ground in the mornings when I do have to go in) I think this pharmacy needs serious re-training and re structuring. They forget they are dealing with patients, I.e. people with physical illnesses and sometimes mental health concerns. Instead of rolling your eyes, getting impatient and annoyed, understand you are the problem, and people cannot wait for you to get your S together. And to those who say "go somewhere else", As someone who tries to be positive in a dull life, getting out and about solo is a limiting struggle, Rowlands is the closest pharmacy's within a walking mile. Why is decent service for something which isn't wanted but actually needed, to much for Rowlands to supply? I hope you don't or someone you love ever suffer within old age, having disabilities.
