I've been working with Lorna for over 2 years now and I don't know where I'd be without her. She has been a Godsend with helping me deal with schools and County, attending meetings, rewriting EHCP's and making endless phone calls for me. It's all ongoing and I wish I could have her to myself but that wouldn't be fair to everyone else who needs her compassion and expertise!!

Home Counties really go above and beyond to help and support. Over the past 18 months Ive been helped and continue to be helped work through some of the most challenging times of life. In the DBT skills group Ive learnt a range of skills to help me manage everyday life and crisis situations I can now recognise what Im feeling and if this feeling is justified also make a choice of how I want to respond. Ive been taught how to make time to respond not react. With 1-1 Ive worked through trauma and learning who I am. I am not the same person who started therapy 18 months ago and I only have Home Counties and their amazing team to thank for this. Life is now something I look forward to having a long and healthy future in, not something I just have to put up with.

Wonderful to begin with, but communication with those in charge when anything was an issue was non-existent. They eventually just stopped communicating with us entirely!

I cant begin to thank Home Counties enough for the help theyve given my husband and son. After seeing a therapist for a few weeks we were pointed in the direction to seek a diagnosis for adhd, something that two schools and I had not picked up on. After the diagnosis we worked with the therapists to put in place a plan which included a DBT course. My son has now been on the course for a year and is a changed person. He has been taught skills that he uses daily and is able to navigate difficult situations with ease, something that we couldnt of imagined him doing a year ago. He has a close relationship with his therapist and as a parent I feel I can call on Home Counties for help and advice at any time. They have changed our lives and Im so grateful we found them when we did.
