Poplar Grove Practice

Poplar Grove is one of the worst doctors surgeries in Aylesbury. They tell you to phone at 8am, but when I try, they either havent turned the phone systems on, or theyve already got a message to say that theyve reached safe working capacity for the day. How? At 8am when theyve only just opened? It used to be really good and there were some amazing doctors here, but since most of them left its gone downhill. Whenever Ive been in there, its been pretty much empty. They diagnose most things over the phone. They stopped my b12 injections in 2020, even though Im supposed to be on them for life and they wont reinstate them. They dont follow NICE guidelines and they arent good at prevention. Its such a shame to see what was a great practice, go downhill so rapidly.

Carefully listened to my child's health condition and booked GP to call back on a scheduled time on later day. Very good reception service by the trainee staff.

Great job guys. As a clinician myself working in primary care, I understand how hard it is, how the demand never eases, but in fact it increases, and today I needed help. Lovely receptionist who really cared and listened (sorry I didn't get her name) and was booked an urgent appointment, saw Sarah who was outstanding. Thank you all, you are doing a great job.

Very happy with the care received, they have good professionals and good appointment waiting time. Going through reception in the morning it's very difficult though and they should look at improving the reception skills, phone queue waiting time is also a downside to this surgery. Overall once you see someone they're very good.
