Members of the public are welcomed into the clubhouse.We have called in on several occasions.Good place to have a coffee or beer after a long walk They also do food.

Played Axe Cliff on Monday 10th October with my son Simon who hits the ball a mile! Great holes and course management vital to get the ball round in a good score. This is just one of those wonderful and quirky courses that even big hitters will have to respect. You will be tested and teased for 18 holes and rewarded with breathtaking views both out to sea and for miles inland over some of the best and interesting land I have ever played on. Study the hole plans on the tees and do as it says and the many blind holes become a joy and fun to play. Each hole is memorable and there are so many ways of playing them depending how you are hitting the ball on the day. The course was in great condition, both greens and fairways, and everybody we met were friendly and helpful. If you have not played Axe Cliff and read this review please make the time to do so, for me this has been one of the best days out this season. Gongratulations to all the people who help make Axe Cliff Golf Club such a special place, it is outstanding and a credit to you all, I hope that your club will continue well into the future. Thankfully I joined up with a couple of members as there are a few strange tee locations etc.. Great fun course with several unique holes.

A great open hilly course that will test your nerve driving blindly over ridges, but help is at hand with very informative tee boards guiding you at each hole. It could do with a little tlc, but with the world as it is, it's important to support these uniquely special and friendly places...go on treat yourselves.
