Coombefield have provided care to my zoo of animals for the last 8 years and overall my experience is good there is also a noticeable lack of transparency when it comes to treatment. They are not open and honest about the course of treatments available and go as far as to 'give estimates' on procedures they know the cost of. Whilst I have no issue in paying for treatment that is in the best interest of my animals I do not enjoy being handed a bill with no communication during the appointment of the costs associated with the treatment being forced upon us, only to question after and find that a different route could have been taken at a much lower cost. In addition to this we felt 'bullied' into feeling it necessary to undertake investigative procedures for a lump that had already been categorised as a 'fatty deposit' for the past 4 years... the labs came back confirming this diagnosis.
