Turned up with vehicle 1 at 8.45am in horrible weather only to be told 20 mins later that the work could not be done due to the weather as only the outside ramp was available but I could leave vehicle till a break in the weather allowed the work to be carried out. I completely understood the situation but as I had only got the morning off to get both vehicles in and also needed vehicle 1 after lunch, I was a bit stuck about what to do as the rain had set in hard for the whole morning and vehicle 2 had to be there in the morning too.
I was just about to suggest swapping the vehicles over and booking in vehicle 1 another day when out of the blue and for no reason at all I was abruptly and very rudely told that they did not want me as a customer. If taking a moment to decide what to do (as I clearly still wanted the work done on both vehicles) and thinking about the logistics of the situation for a minute due to vehicle one being needed in the afternoon was bang out of order then of course it is all my fault.
If I had been rude or had I kicked off about not being told about the job being weather dependant as it would be on the outside ramp (which would have prevented the situation and saved everyone`s time had I known in advance resulting me in turning up with vehicle 2 instead) I would of course understand but I had been very calm, polite and understanding and had also taken the time and the effort to get there early like a good customer should so the attitude was not from me!
I simply left without a uttering a word in total shock and disbelief at the way I had just been treated but thinking naively that perhaps I might get a phone call and an apology and an offer to rebook the jobs but nothing whatsoever after a week hence my review which was very reluctantly left. I have since had the work carried out elsewhere happily, but am still stunned by what happened and the distortion of what actually and factually happened from RCM in their response as I expected so much better from RCM and still feel very sad about it but I will not let RCM mislead others about MY experience hence this long edit to tell the truth. Would I trust them to do a good job? - Of course I would without question but the review is not about that and customer service is as vital a part of any business as any work carried out.
