Phil was great from start to finish. We had left our garden to last when renovating our home and were drawing a blank on what to do to maximise the space. Phil took us through a range of options and held our hand through the process with expertise, kindness and patience. He even helped out with the planting. This is the second time Ive used Phil to create a new garden for me. Both times have been brilliant! Transforming a totally run down, overgrown, unloved plot into a beautiful garden takes real skill - from site survey to detailed designs right through to site clearing (in our case we needed some pretty heavy duty diggers on site!) and of course planting. Phil is able to take your ideas and turn them into reality, all while adding his own expertise, advice and passion. And what makes it all even better is that Phil is an absolute joy to work with. Friendly, approachable, easy going, knowledgable and helpful - what more can you ask? Our garden is now a beautiful haven and we cant thank him enough. Highly recommended.

We were recommended to Phil for his flair for creative design and his knowledge and experience about plants. He certainly didnt let us down taking time to get to know us, our house and garden, and what each member of the family wanted from the garden. The key to the project was how our new extension linked to the garden. He came up with a great design and really took time to listen to our feedback, before producing something we were comfortable with. I personally found it really difficult to visualize, but trusted Phils judgement and was very glad we did. He was also on hand to come to site and advise during the landscaping and planting which was invaluable The garden is fantastic and not only looks stunning but the link between the garden and house is seamless. The garden flows from one area to the next. It just works for the whole family. Its my turn to now recommend Phil to others. Thanks for all your effortsand patience. The garden design service that Phil provides is so special because of his ability to convert unformed ideas into stunning, unique plans. In our case this has transformed an unlovely area of grass and an unwanted swimming pool on the side of a hill into an amazing, ultra-low maintenance garden for us to enjoy whilst growing old gracefully. Careful assessment of the location and orientation of the garden in addition to reviewing the sight lines from inside and outside the house allowed Phil to create a garden combining seating areas, distant views and a delightful water feature. Plants were chosen after discussion regarding personal preferences (white, scented), roles the plants would play (providing privacy, autumnal colour) and included old favourite as well as new specimens, all in lovely condition. But perhaps the most important reason to recommend Phil without reservation is because working with him has been an absolute pleasure - he is knowledgable, totally flexible and happy to adapt as creation of the garden progressed and we wanted additional features. Changing your mind will not be a problem, although I doubt that you will want or need to.
