Have to wait 3 weeks for a phone call from a doctor and a further 4 weeks for a face to face appointment. Appalling!!! I NEVER see my own GP who according to their web site, only sees patients on Monday, Wednesday mornings and All day Friday.... No wonder WHY you have to wait so long to see a doctor!!! Why can't the Practice enrol doctors who wish to practice rather than more time off during the week? Patients health is at risk!!!!

Never experienced anything but the finest, personal treatment and advice. Reception staff are great and surgery nurses know precisely what theyre doing (just as well!). Considering the pressure that surgeries and the NHS in general are under Im very impressed.

Personally I have never had a problem with any of the Docors ( I don't mind which one I see or talk to, they are all trained G.P's and have records to hand) or any of the staff at the practice. They have aways been as helpful and as polite as humanly possible, either as one to one or by phone call. I'm sure their job is not an easy one, especially when they have to cope with more sick people than they have pairs of hands. A little more respect, understanding, patience and less attitude would go a long way to making everyone's day easier.

My wife requested to see a GP after an eye condition worsened. This practice asked her to see a clinician instead, my wife politely explained that she had already seen the clinician regarding this, and he did not even look at her eye? So, she felt a GP was the best way forward. Later a stand in GP called her. "I understand you dont want to see a clinician, well in that case you should book an emergency appointment with an optician because they have access to better equipment and can refer you much quicker. However, I will see you as hard to diagnose over the phone but Im not booking appointments its just a case of turn up here today or tomorrow and wait your turn. I will warn you though that I see people who are dying on me first and children under two because I cant stand the screeching." So much for professional then, needless to say I wasn't taking my wife to see this 'chap', she was seen instead elsewhere, they were under pressure too but could not have been better, and after examination, referred her urgently. I do not recommend this practice.
