I had the opportunity co-present some research on trust and contemporary slavery with the Arise Foundation at the House of Lords in April of this year. I've consulted with a number of different human rights organizations in the past, but I must confess there is something unique about Arise. Perhaps it's because Arise has such a close relationship with a group of Catholic sisters who are part of their Board of Trustees. Perhaps it's because the Arise Foundation is in itself headquartered on the grounds of a nursing facility in London, run by Catholic sisters, in which you can feel the spirit of something greater--a higher power. Or, perhaps it's because Arise has managed to hire and maintain such great talent. Whatever the reason, I've found the Arise Foundation to be unique. The people who work at Arise care a great deal about social justice and human rights. For them, it's a duty to help fashion the world into a more human and just place. I've seen this firsthand getting to know the staff, led by Luke de Pulford, who is kind, charismatic, and dedicated. The other staff members are equally lovely and dynamic. This is a great organization.

I am happy to be a part of Arise foundation, which reaches out to people who are real need in very interior villages. Our people have been supported to work against human trafficking, migration and are saved from hunger through various capacity building programmes, income generating activities and skill trainings. We are very much grateful to Arise Foundation.
