We paid a deposit in Oct 2021 for 16 in tray solar panels. Deege were aware that we would not require them to be installed until the following summer once our new extension was complete. The problems started in the spring of 2022 when initially they "lost" our order and payment. Thankfully everything was found and in August 2022 we advised Deege that installation could take place in around 4 weeks. The installers actually arrived on 17 October, but this was after 4 appointments previously arranged where either the installers didn't turn up as Deege had advised that they would or we were advised literally hours before they were due to arrive that they weren't coming. In fact on the morning of 17 October I even tried tweeting Deege but then got blocked from their twitter page.... Deege NEVER answer their phones.... The installers that did turn up were clearly not employees of Deege but were a sub-contractor. The trays were installed onto our new and existing roofs. Following installation our own builders had significant concerns with workmanship. This turned out to be entirely correct as two days later, during the middle of a heavy rainstorm we discovered a significant leak in our new roof. Again - Deege didn't answer our phone calls that morning. It was not until I sent photos and a WhatsApp message to the MD (David Norman) that we got a response sometime around lunchtime. To cut a very long and frustrating story short, the damage caused by Deege to our new and existing roof had to rectified at very short notice by our own builders at significant cost to us. A few days after the initial leak in our new roof, we then had a leak in our existing roof. Deege's sub-contractors had used screws which were too long and they had gone straight through the new felted roof. Everything had to be replaced. The sub-contractors had also ignored requests to place the tiles which they had removed on our existing roof onto plywood, this damaged the new felt roof on an existing flat part of our roof. There were many other issued with the works but these were the main issues. We are now in dispute with Deege regarding our builder's costs as we have refused to pay the full invoice for the solar panels. Deege are refusing to provide us with the necessary sign-off documentation until the account is paid in full. Do not use this company - the quality of the work is atrocious, customer service is non-existent and 18 months after signing the contract, we are still in dispute.

Be careful about this company. They moved my installation dates many times. Tried to contact the sales guy Rod and his phone always goes to voicemail. Spoke to Cloe and she said she will come back to me in a few hours, but no update for many days. calls to her phone go to voicemail. Emailed both of the above and customer services, but no response yet. This team may have done a handful of installations in the beginning to gain goodwill, but I don't think they are doing any business at all now. If the customer service before the sale is like this, imagine how it will be after you spent your hard-earned money !

The most shockingly disorganised organisation I've ever dealt with. An error with pretty much everything involved in the project, and at least five no shows that we waited in for. Again today - after 6 months of planning, equipment isn't delivered, wrong things are ordered, engineers don't show - after waiting in AGAIN for a whole day. And after the original install, we had a garden full of plastic ends of cables in the grass, and waste everywhere to be cleaned up. It upsets me so much. I would add that the charge and discharge rates were wrongly assessed and are half what they should be. And some of the kit is clearly reused from other installs - not even cleaned first! First and foremost, a company must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Aside from a couple of the office team, who seem to be trying very hard against all odds, communication is very poor.

Deege Solar are a dedicated team with a mission to bring energy generation to the nation, in spite of an extraordinarily challenging market. From quotation to delivery, installation & commissioning; the entire team have been dedicated, hard working & honest professionals in every regard. I work in the automotive industry which has been plagued by supply chain issues (shortages, price hikes & logistical problems) since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Solar PV systems use many of the same components & materials so when it became apparent that the original delivery date could not be achieved due to these same global supply issues, we rescheduled the installation plan and Deege stuck to it relentlessly, providing regular updates & confirmation. The admin team is quite small at the moment so it takes a little patience to contact them at times but they know their technology, they know their installers and they know what their customers need.

Excellent and innovative electrical installation from Liam despite a difficult house with multiple levels and poor access to meter etc. Delay from order to panel installation but good comms from the team to keep me updated.
