Regal Engines

These guys really tried to get my camper van off for a holiday and were amazing to deal with. Generally i see posts on here about costs, sometimes they dont know what the cost is going to be until they open up the engine (i used to race bikes so i know what its like). I took my car in for an engine rebuild due to low engine compression and was told that they would sort the problem and angine will feel like new when finished, took almost 5 weeks to do but was told 1 week. . I was in contact withem every few days and was told this needed replacing .... that needs replacing ...when told i was able to collect my car and was complete . On arrival i was told ... its not running very good coz i need a new engine wiring loom . When i challenged them as to why this hasnt been repaired they said it was a big job taking the engine back out to change the loom even though they had the engine out to repair it. I left with my car very dissapointed as i had just put almost 3300 in to this and the car was not ever right after this.....would definately seek alternative if i ever should need to. AWESOME RESPONSE -so -you have never dealt with me...lol . Seems a regular response to all unsatisfied customers of yours when they give you a bad review. You just deny them as a customer of yours. If i was willing to search for the invoice i would show everyone what a cowboy business this is . What an insult and a sham business. All i can say to any possible customer of yours is..find a hole in the ground and throw your money in to it.

Agreed a price to repair my engine. On collection, paid the agreed price but Ken produces an additional invoice at almost 1000 extra. Nothing was agreed about this. Wouldnt release the car until paid. Very dishonest man. Had nothing but problems with the engine since. Timing was out, several oil leaks and runs lumpy. Now paid someone else to finish the job. Wouldnt recommend! Poor workmanship!

Had my Transit Custom engine rebuilt, Ken,Ann, Tina are such lovely people nothing to much to help you out. The Machanic are great did a first class service and got me back in the road in no time A+++++
