Very disappointed today as we collected from Aveley and the food seemed 3 days old, the rice and peas was like mushy orange rice, the chicken was not as flavoursome as when we collect from Barking, the curry goat was off and so was the coleslaw. I will not purchase here again.

I ordered mild jerk chicken however as soon as I started eating it was SPICY. When I specifically ordered mild. I couldn't eat it. When I called the restaurant and told them they simply replied to me that's how it is that their mild is spicy and couldn't do nothing about it.

Ordered a take away and there was a notice in the email explaining that the restaurant was experiencing higher demand than usual and that there could be a delay. The food arrived within 20 minutes which was surprising! Both the curried goat and the jerk chicken were really good. Read in other reviews about microwaving - in all honesty so? If that's what makes the process easier for a small business does it really matter? Found the meals to be good value and portions generous. Had some poor experiences with more local Caribbean restaurants so it was worth ordering from slightly further away. Also really like the smiley faces on each of the dishes!

The food came really quickly (within 15 minutes of ordering), which we really impressed with. We then opened the food to find why it came so quickly. All of the containers looked like microwave meal packets and you could see the knife marks. The plantain was mushy and inedible, the mac and cheese was literally just macaroni pasta with melted cheese on top (which had gone cold), and the southern fried chicken was soggy and completely grey. All was completely inedible. The rice and peas and jerk chicken which was clearly microwaved was barely edible but no better that a tesco ready meal. Ive never written a review but it was so disappointing, i took pictures but you obviously cant post them here

First time we tried this , curry goat meal & jerk chicken meal WOW it is so good , great service for a takeaway. Food was hot & big portions, this might be a regular takeaway from now on!
