Awful experience. Referred by my doctor. I was able to book promptly but needed to contact after that, it was 3 days before. I literally must have tried 30 times, all day. Just rang out, no answerphone, no "you are caller no. X". So I emailed. My scan was nextday. . No answer. Then i got an answer on morning of scan . Didnt answer my query. I am diabetic on insulin so fasting fir 6 hrs is very tricky. I needed to know what i could take if blood sugar too low! I was in waiting room crying as my sugar was critical. Then the nurse implied it was My fault Awful.what should have been a simple answer ti a simple question turned into a horrible experience

Horrible lady over the phone . Acting all angry from the beggining and felt like she gets annoyed for being asked about appointment with female doctor .

Absolutely terrible service. I was refered by my doctor for a scan and it was virtually impossible to get through to them on the phone. The phone rang and rang with no one to answer it, no matter what time of the day you try to contact them. Then I emailed them and out of the blue they sent a Saturday appointment at the very last minute. So I made plans to attend the appointment as I was glad that at least I had some contact. The same random appointment was now cancelled two hours to the time with the only explanation being 'issues with our services'. The lady on the phone had a serious attitude problem and was extremely rude and really should not be in a customer service role. All this happened today 04/02. I think i will go private at this rate because there is no reason for a NHS service to be so bad.

I am trying to book an appointment for last two days but couldnt able to connect the call. This centre should be closed. We patients are suffering due to their poor service

2 month update - has still not been able to get an appointment. Everytime my GP refers me AGAIN Lakeside Medical tells me they cannot find my referral, i then get told my by GP that they have marked me as a no show. This place is just messing with peoples health. Impossible to get through. I keep getting an automated message for the last 3 working days saying to call back & then it hangs up on me. not even being put on hold! ridiculous
