Now thats what I call a slap up Sunday Lunch, beautifully presented and very tasty the staff are very friendly and professional. You just have to go after walking around the standing stones in Avbery and maybe after, that is if you can still walk

Lovely historic pub bursting with atmosphere. Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Delightful lunch there!

Reasonably pleasant Easter Sunday carvery but nothing special. Beef was quite chewy but the gammon was nice. Good selection of veg and sauces. The chap carving was a little mean, but it was to be a busy day and I think he may have been preoccupied. Wouldn't sell me a yorkie pud for my veggie wife who was having the risotto, even though only 4 out of the 6 we'd booked for were having the carvery. The serving staff were nice and friendly. 135 for 5 plus a pack up carvery for our poorly relative who was unable to make it.
