        We stopped off here for Sunday lunch after a nice walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we hadn't booked. The pub is a little maze inside, very nicely done out. Food was all delicious, beautiful home made soup for starter and perfectly cooked roast beef, beautiful yorkshires and lovely veg. Nice portions too with lots of meat. Would definitely recommend

        Brilliant find in a very quiet rural setting. Staff very polite and great, food (Sunday roast) was excellent, the pub itself is very clean, lots of character and we will definitely return. Highly recommended
