Fantastic fishing. Abundant and varied stock of hard fighting healthy carp ... common, mirrors and ghosties. The fish switch on and off unpredictably, which is great fun. When they switch on, be wary about having 2 rods out unless you are nimble and ambidextrous! Now I've got a 4x4, I'm less nervous about the access road. Make sure that your car has some ground clearance for the potholes. Pics are from 17th April caught over 5 hours at the east lake. Largest 10 1/2 lb.
