I asked what was recommended and they suggested the Cod.
So I had Cod and Chips and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked fresh, the fish was nice and white, it flaked nicely just as fish should.
The batter was light so it didn't overpower the fish, and it was not oily at all.
Chips were cooked perfectly and tasted of potato chips.
The free pot of tartare sauce was great also.
Service from the staff was friendly and helpful. The suggestion was spot on.
Overall I am extremely happy, and if I didn't live an hours drive away, I would certainly visit more often.
