Three Wrens Cheshire Distillery

Bought the gin distilling experience for my boyfriend. We were warmly welcomed with a bison gin with apple juice and elderflower - lovely. Each table had eight people and each couple had their own still and all the equipment needed to make their own gin. Nick explained how gin is made and we were taken to the botanics wall to smell all of the different things we could add including chocolate and marmite for the brave among us! Once we had decided what we wanted to use, it was checked and the ingredients were weighed out and the stills prepared for our concoctions. Lunch was served while the gin was doing its thing consisting of fresh sandwiches, savouries and cake. Our finished gin was labelled, tested for strength (44% abv!) and we sealed the bottle with wax. A really enjoyable few hours. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and we met some great people. The minibus service mentioned on the Three Wrens Gin website called Go-Too is definitely recommended. We were picked up and dropped back at Nantwich train station for 10 total. Two people on our table had driven which seems a waste when you have six gins to sample! This is the second gin experience I have done and they were very different but I really enjoyed this. Got a voucher for gin tasting for our wedding, voucher had no expiry on it. We emailed to book but were told it had expired. We stated it had no expiry on it and it was unviable to use during covid, they promptly ignored us. Cant say the non existent gin tour or customer service was any good, maybe well just stick with Bombay Sapphire.

Amazing gin distillery tour!! Very relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to learn, the gins were all gorgeous and staff were very friendly x

Had so much fun at Gin School last weekend. It is a great experience, highly recommend it. Agree with a previous reviewer, recommend taking nibbles with you: the tastings offered are very generous!

Absolutely sterling level of service from Nick and the team, some technical issues with emails nothing they didnt resolve! And the gift set is amazing well presented.
