Atherton Cemetery

Quiet peaceful you can cry and talk to your loved one. There are benches you can sit on and reminisce it's tidy and clean . You do need more rubbish containers .

Hi can someone tell me who to contact asap about the cemetery .my dad has recently been burried in there with he's mum dad sister .the far side of the cemetery were the gate is .at the side of road side .that's were my dad is .and quite a few headstones have either been PUSHED over or fell over .it's discusting how many graves stones are down .could someone please go out to the cemetery and sort them out .I noticed a lot of glue n wooden douling was used on 1grave to possition it may be on the actual ground stone .the actual head stone sits on .and also why is the cemetery house not occupied .it's a shame a priest does not live there like most cemeteries .it's a lovely church yard House .to rent out may be to member of public .who has relatives in the cemetery .nice house just just to let go to waste .can anyone please point me in right direction .to report these headstones

Very nice cemetery, be even better if one of the old churches was made into a tea room
