Despite the four/five star ratings featured here, have personally found the manager and at least one (female) staff member to have a VERY 'unfortunate disposition'. Hence this review. Rude and abrupt, these two can be far from caring toward some of the vulnerable residents in their 'care'. I myself witnessed the above mentioned staff member, accompanied by a (clearly embarrassed and ashamed) young assistant, shouting at a lone, BLIND widower aged in his 90s when he had the audacity to summon her, by calling them on the intercom in his flat. Shame on them. Obviously, another example of poor recruitment decisions by whomever is responsible in this company's HR/Personnel Dept.

Laurel's Eatery is a separate business on the same premises. Hygiene rating 5* one more than another local eatery we tried. Open to 2.30pm ... later than some nearby. Bright, modern, with a patio by a pleasant garden. Plenty of space between tables. Staff were friendly. Coffee cup is big. A good find. More garden tables than shown in pic. I am from Staffs and have no connection with business or owners.
