The Atherstone Red Lion Hotel

Visited to attend Atherstone folk club which was held in a well suited room. The meal we had was excellent. Noteworthy details: The hotel is dog friendly

We were pleased with our 2 night stay at The Red Lion the staff were very helpful and professional food at breakfast and dinner was very good our room 208 was very clean and the maid that was cleaning could not of been anymore helpful when we asked for our wet towels to be changed. It's a old coaching inn with lots of character but expect to have a little noise from it's plumbing. Keep up the good work, 10 out of 10.

Food & drinks: Fairly traditional pub food , good quality and presentation. The business is under new management and staff. The service was quick and efficient even although it was very busy lunchtime. We ate in the library area on large comfortable sofas . I noticed the afternoon tea going into the tea room as I ordered it looked homemade and delicious. We will call in again .well done
