We had a fantastic experience with Furber Young as builders for our self-build oak frame passivhaus. They didn't just take the plans and put something up but suggested and showed us options for various aspects of the build and encouraged us to see progress almost daily. This meant that we felt part of the team and intimately involved in all aspects of the development of our new home. Importantly, Furber Young's attention to detail and high quality workmanship was a key aspect of our achieving passivhaus certification - without a fastidious approach to the whole building process this standard will not be achieved no matter how good the design. We found Furber Young a friendly, approachable and professional firm. We are delighted with the house they have built for us and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
