Rooms: The room was very spacious and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Walkability: Its in a good location about a 10 minute walk from Hope and a short walk from the train station (abut still a quiet rural area).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thorndene - a picturesque B&B in a picturesque area of the Peaks District. A 10-min walk from Hope train station makes an ideal location for accessing local hikes. Upon arrival, John warmly welcomed us with tea and cake and showed us to our room. The room was well decorated, very spacious, had great facilities, and extra heating and bedding so we were extra cozy. Breakfast was divine! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend to all going to stay in the Peaks District.

Perfect b&b in a perfect location. The owner is such a lovely friendly smiley guy. Couldn't do enough for us. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and walks we could go on. The room was a great size with a lovely big window that had views of the surrounding hills. The en suite was nice and modern and the shower was just amazing! Everywhere spotlessly clean. Breakfast was cooked perfectly too. Would Highley recommend!
