When you book an electric hook-up pitch they charge you an extra 4.75 per day calling it an energy surcharge, and to use their showers they are now charging you 3 for 15 minutes.

Stayed for three nights at the caravan site. The site is nice and it had a friendly feel but whilst the toilet block looks nice and new, it is always dirty in the toilets, sinks and showers and they also charge 3 for the pleasure of a cold, under pressured shower with a dirty cubicle. Awnings are also extra, despite all pitches being able to accommodate them, so I'm not sure what difference it makes and there is also a electric surcharge, making a short break more expensive than a lot of other sites. It had potential to be great and they clearly have enough customers but it lacks maintenance and are charging too much. We only saw one member of staff floating around the site intermittently but we only recognised him from the gate as he had no uniform on.
