The Windmill Venue & Restaurant

This was our second visit to The Windmill and as expected, we had an excellent dining experience. The setting in the middle of Cotswold Countryside is wonderful and there is a large garden area which makes it suitable for events like Wedding Receptions, etc. The restaurant is very comfortable and has a really welcoming atmosphere. On arrival our greeting was very friendly and professional which set the tone for the whole experience. The menu has a good and varied range and our food was excellently presented and cooked. The drinks menu caters for all tastes. The whole dining experience was first class and we would eat here more often if it werent for the 34 miles trip each way, so this is for us a special event venue! The toilets are spotless. Recommended.

Visited the Windmill with my Mum on Easter Sunday. Staff were very professional and attentive. An excellent level of customer service. The location of the pub is situated such that if you have a table at the back of the pub, you can see the amazing views over the Oxfordshire countryside. The meal was lovely- I had the whitebait for starters and the roast leg of lamb for main. My Mum had the turkey crown. Both were with good portions of vegetables which you served yourself at the table. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone! 10!10

We dined in at The Windmill and Barry and his team were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. A great place to relax and enjoy the good food and surroundings. Thoroughly recommend.
