Lowther Castle Inn

Staying just along the road from the bar restaurant waiting outside for it to open So we could get take away food The owner let us in and let us have a drink while we were waiting for our order It's a good bar it's got a lovely big fire we were sitting waiting beside it Heating up as it was a bit cold outside The bar is only open Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday it was when we were staying just along from it And it's open from 6:30 pm until 12 The food that we got was really good well the plates that the food was on was empty so I'm guessing that they had enjoyed it Yeah it's worth a visit

OMG Had the sirloin steak ,it was amazing Service was impeccable If you have a big appetite you could maybe have a dessert too . I however simply was far too full to indulge in dessert to comment ,but the other guests seemed to enjoy them...and they did look delicious . I would most recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the Eden valley I would highly recommend you trying out this restaurant Family of 8 eating All food arrived hot and all at the same time.
