Nice pub with a more traditional feel. Good outdoor space, most of it is covered from the rain and you can sit having a drink looking at the world go by. They have sports TV inside and out in the beer garden. Today 5.3.23 there were two sports TV's with two different games but you can watch either without a problem. Tried their roast dinner and it was spot on. Roast chicken with crispy skin, descant roast potatoes and mash, carrots, cabbage, Yorkshire pudding and nice gravey. Tried the beef Roast dinner on my next visit, beef soft and cooked through, not carvery standard but ok; the chicken roast still is first choice. Will try pork next time.
