        We didn't stay in the carthouse but stayed in a farmhouse 200 yards away. It is an idyllic position tucked away perched on the side of a hill with glorious views set in the West Dorset rolling countryside. The farmyard has been converted into a series of artists/craftsman's workshops. This is the perfect place to get away and have total relaxation and peace. There are stunning views from the top of Eggardon fort just above the carthouse. Don't miss Bridport and West Bay for a swim.
