I did not post a review initially on termination of Rural Cleans services as I didn't want to be reactive and angry but logical and calm. I hope all users and potential users of Rural Cleans realise what they actually pay per hour per cleaner and what they get above and beyond for the 30 per hour per cleaner. Read other reviews to confirm this cost. An exceptionally high cost, for what has been in my experience an unexceptional service. Steph the owner is very good at talking the talk but the practices do not deliver on the verbal promises. Yes, the general cleaning is good but there are many errors and omissions made. Areas of my property unfinished and linens only partially provided for incoming guests. Her aspirations I guess, include becoming very affluent at clients costs, to charge what is charged even after overheads (which now include Aske Hall and pool cars) must be phenomenal. I found any suggestion I made of service deficiency was met by a hostile politeness followed up with an email apology, but that is not good enough. Promises on her Website of offering a one-stop-shop including laundering and pressing of clients own linens or hiring their linens is nonsense as that suggests caring for your property. We purchased our own linens, six full sets at 170 per set and high quality towels, over 800 of my linens have gone missing. I now question their whereabouts. I have tried for over a year to ensure my linens were used but to no avail. I was told a direct untruth by Steph in December 2020 that the laundry could not be accessed due to Covid as it was closed. It was actually open throughout the last lock down and possibly even prior to it. Do your research very very carefully before engaging Rural Cleans. Steph's very high charges may deliver exactly what you require if you welcome over charging. I can provide very damning communication evidence between myself and Rural Cleans around service delivery and provider hostility. One of Steph's claims is to offer TRUST in service delivery. I actually could not trust the service delivery on linen provision and assurances. If attention to detail with matched linens for guests is a priority for you then please be very careful before contracting Rural Cleans services. This is not a priority to them.
