This is a proper nursery and not an excuse for a department store. I like it and I like the prices. The staff are very helpful.

This is a very convenient garden centre, close to where I live and stocking almost everything the average gardener could require. On one occasion even outsize bamboo was secured at my request. Laterly, some of the outdoor display area has been given over to unnecessary car parking, making one fearful that the place might be closing........ The range of trees and shrubs is very good and there are extensive nursery greenhouses, again, not utilised to full capacity, but the range of produce is enough for the average gardener. An impressively large range of sprays and feeds compost and fertilisers are also available. Also - and I'm not sure if this is pertinent to the area - the largest range of mice and rat mitigation products I have seen anywhere. Some of the mice traps are quite ingenious - you don't have to kill 'em. What would really earn the place another star would be more for the bonsai enthusiast. Amazon I know do absolutely EVERYTHING, but I'd much rather trade locally. I need more pots. Open every day - another convenience.
