AVOID, paid 84 for an engineer to tell me after 5mins samsung washer dryer needs a new PCB. Quoted me another 180 to supply and fit, which would have taken him no more than 10mins to fit. Ordered the part myself on ebay, 93 and fitted myself, now fixed. The price you pay for the time they are there is extortionate. If you have samsung ecobubble out of warranty and get code 3C2 try to get another PCB (take off back panel and is a white box on the bottom right), very easy to do. Service: Washer/dryer repair

Blomberg washer dryer stopped drying just before Xmas. Phoned blomberg and got appointment for beginning of January. Half way through holiday got a text from ACL requesting machine details again and cancelling appointment on basis that they needed to order the part. Why they couldn't ask Blomberg again i don't know. Anyway when I came back from holiday I gave ACL the info again. A week later they texted me to make an another appointment. The earliest was another 2 weeks. When the engineer arrived 3 hours later than estimated he incorrectly said i reported that the machine did not drain and turned up with a new pump. He didn't have the part to fix the dryer problem. When I chased the company for a revised repair date, I was told the engineer had replaced the pump, which of course he had not. He had also left our integrated machine sticking out as he couldn't push it back by himself. I contacted Beko who are the owners of Blomberg who agreed that I had given all necessary details when i first reported the fault and they have offered me a satisfactory resolution. Service: Washer/dryer repair

Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional. We just had a visit from Bryan an engineer sent on behalf of ACL. We had a problem before Christmas with our Bloomberg dishwasher that is still in warranty- another guy came out to fix it but took the integrated cabinet door off and didn't put it back on properly. Shortly after he left the whole cabinet door fell off leaving wires exposed and meaning the dishwasher wouldn't close properly. SO we called them out again to fix the door back on - the first time the guy didn't show/cancelled so we had another few weeks before Bryan arrived. He shows up today and accuses us of taking the door of ourselves?!?!? Then is immediately hostile and tells us to fix it ourselves. He then says 'I'm going to phone head office before you do' and storms out. Then sits outside in his van for ten minutes. The whole experience was entirely annoying - having to wait in again yet another whole day for nothing to be achieved - and totally unprofessional and just downright bizarre. It's put us off buying through the same company again if they're sending out people like this with zero customer service skills and who are just horrible and rude. Fair enough if he couldn't do it, just explain that nicely and I'm sure we could have figured it out or got someone in who could, but it was your company's representative that broke it in the first place and definitely don't accuse customers of breaking it themselves! How this guy has a job is beyond me. Service: Dishwasher repair

We were recommended to use ACL Domestic by Smeg who were very polite and professional. ACL Domestic, however, were troublesome from the start. Their telephony services were frustrating to deal with: talking to the receptionist was like talking to a 4-year-old child. Once an appointment is booked, you have to agree to their terms and conditions by email before a visit is made, and the call-out fee is 169, which by any standard is a high fee. The extensive T&Cs should have alerted me to the fact that this company appears to anticipate trouble before every job begins. And we were not disappointed. The engineer, shown on their tracker to arrive between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, arrived at 8:30 am and was finished in minutes. He responded that the Smeg refrigerator had low gas and that, for safety reasons, he had cut off the plug. It could perhaps be repaired, but this is not something they could do. Other companies may offer this repair but not them. The engineer was unhelpful and very curt. So what ACL Domestic offered was a man to come to our home early in the morning and cut off the plug from our refrigerator. All this was delivered in a disrespectful and couldnt-care-less manner for just 169. Smeg should be more careful about the companies they recommend as it reflects on their good reputation. ACL Domestic was one of the worst companies I have had the displeasure of dealing with for some time. Please, Smeg, drop these cowboys from your list. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair
