My husband Martin and I have just come back from Devon's best kept secret, Sunny Pooh Corner which I am loathed to recommend too highly for fear of having to share it. It's a peaceful and tranquil site with friendly, welcoming owners. Among its many great points are its central location within easy reach of the coast and national parks. Our accommodation (Honey Pooh Lodge) was warm, and thanks to Amanda, cosy and immaculately presented, with sumptuous soft furnishings and decor. There is a lake with fish, which is a lovely place to sit and watch the sun go down and horses and geese add to the charm. Go there but don't tell many people! ;)))
