pop-up campsite by the river

I can not recommend popup campsites highly enough. I initially came across this site when organising a group trip where some were first timers with no camping gear, some wanted to somewhere to glamp, and some seasoned campers- no mean feat. Tiz and Jules solved everything! Pitches, pre-pitches tents, and option to have fully furnished tents, plus shepherds huts too, and at very reasonable prices. On top of that the pizza van for Friday nights and bushcraft for kids was a great bonus. Sadly covid hit so the group trip was off, but desperate to get a change of scenery we went anyway. Im so glad we did. A short stay so we chose to get the pre pitches tent, so nice and quick to get settled in. The venue is fabulous. Several fields with so much space. Pitches double spaced for safety, but middle of each field clear so kids could run around easily, super clean facilities, and the location was just fantastic. We went for lovely walks, enjoyed the fab fire pits. We cant wait to go back! Would be fab to see the place in its normal set up - seeing where each pitch would have been it would clearly still be so spaced out. And perhaps the best part, whilst we werent alone it felt that we were - a great place. After a long lockdown it was the perfect escape to switch off from work, go off grid and be totally safe. We didnt give it a go but paddle boarding on the river looked great! Im hoping to go back as group one day - so the research and prep pays off, but whether youre one family, a small gathering or a large group, this place is perfect. Tizz and Joules were so welcoming. We had a fantastic weekend camping. The facilities were great, beautiful scenery. Useful beach recommendations, great activities geocaching, stream and climbing net for the children. Couldnt recommend enough

Peaceful campsite by the River Adur with views of the South Downs. We hired very comfortable furnished bell tents and highly recommend for a relaxing camping experience.

We have just returned from a great weekend at this campsite and would highly recommend it. It was the first weekend of campsites opening post lockdown. We had plenty of space in a lovely field in a beautiful setting. The facilities were clean and well maintained and everything was managed well. I would definitely return here and would recommend to others.
